Jon Hamm joins Billy Bob Thornton in Taylor Sheridan’s oil industry drama LANDMAN

Jon Hamm he is set to act opposite Billy Bob Thornton In Taylor Sheridan AND Christian WallaceParamount+’s upcoming drama series Landman.

Hamm will take on the role of Monty Miller, “a titan of the Texas oil industry who has a long personal and professional relationship with Tommy Norris (Thornton).” It will be a fantastic role for Hamm.

The story is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas. Landman is a modern story of finding fortune in the world of oil rigs. Based on the 11-part podcast Boomtownthe series is an upstairs-downstairs story of thugs and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.

Landman even stars Ali Larter (The latest victim), Michelle Randolph (1923), Jacob Lofland (Joker 2), Kayla Wallace (When it calls the heart), Giacomo Giordano (Yellowstone), Marco Collie (Nashville), Paulina Chavez (The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia), AND Demi Moore (Feud: Capote vs. The swans).

The series is currently in production in and around Fort Worth, Texas.
