James Gunn is currently in development Superman: Legacy for DC Studios and also wrote Commando of creatures, Pacifier Season 2 and more. The director has no plans to slow down and has confirmed his plans to continue writing and directing film and television projects for the DCU.
Gunn was asked on social media if he knows what the next DCU project he’ll write will be now that he’s finished Pacifier Season 2. He responded, saying:
“I won’t be able to write anything for a while due to my directing and producing commitments. Well, until I wake up with an idea at 3am and can’t help myself.
He was then asked if he plans to continue writing and directing DCU projects in the future, and Gunn replied, “That’s what I’m here for.”
I’m guessing Gunn won’t personally start on anything new until he’s finished shooting Superman: Legacy, but the guy seems to have the ability to juggle multiple projects at once, so who knows!? Regardless, it will be interesting to see what DC project he gets involved with next.
