Disney is said to still be developing two separate ones Pirates of the Caribbean movie right now, and a new report has surfaced that claims so The bear star Ayo Edebiri he was wanted by Disney to star in one of those films.
This news comes from insider Daniel Richtman, who says that both of these projects are still in development and that Edebiri could take on the role of a character called “Anne.”
It is explained that this project was originally developed with Disneyland’s new female pirate ride, Redd, in mind to direct the film. At a certain point, Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan he was said to be in line to play the character. Obviously, plans have changed and the focus is now on “a younger cast of pirates searching for hidden treasure.”
As for the other Pirates movie, Margot Robbie he’s reportedly still attached to play the lead role in a new Pirates movie starring a woman, which is being developed by Birds of prey writer Christina Hodson. It was reported that this movie wasn’t moving forward, but I guess the report was wrong.
The version Ayo Edebiri aspires to was developed by Chernobyl Creator Craig Mazin and previous writer of Pirates films Ted Elliott. This movie is way ahead of the other one and if you go first, it will be this one.
None of the films will have any connection to the original starring franchise Johnny Depp, Chivalrous KeiraAND Orlando Bloom.
