The STRANGER THINGS actor says he thinks the show would be better if the main cast members were killed off

Stranger things is currently filming the fifth and final season, which will conclude the story that began in Hawkins, Indiana, in the 1980s, and took us back decades earlier to dive deep into the mystery of Henry Creel, who later became the villain Vecna. . Now we’ll see how the story brings us back to Will Byers, who disappeared in the woods in season 1, and has since struggled with his connection to the Upside Down.

The final season is said to be the biggest yet, and fans have been wondering if we might see some major casualties before the show ends. So far, the main cast members have been saved from death, but one star says she thinks the show would improve if more of them were wiped out.

In a recent interview at Megacon Orlando (via CBR), Gaten Matarazzowho plays Dustin Henderson in the series, said:

“It might sound messed up, but we should kill more people. This show would be so much better if the stakes were so much higher, like at any moment any of these guys could kick it. I feel like we’re all too safe.”

Although, to be fair, Max Mayfield, played by Sadie Sink in the series, she was tortured rather brutally last season, and the story ended with her in a coma. Will Byers has narrowly escaped death a couple of times, and many believe he won’t make it through the final season. Not to mention that Bob (Sean Astin) and Eddie (Joseph Quinn) both died, and although they were newcomers to their respective seasons, they were both beloved by fans as much as the main cast members, if not more in some cases.
