A lot of new promotional art has emerged for Marvel’s upcoming animated series X-Men ’97. The illustrations show the main characters alongside the Sentinels and a first look at the other characters. There is a lot of excitement about this series, which has been in development for a long time.
The official synopsis for the series reads: “Storm and Wolverine try to continue the X-Men. Magneto arrives and wants to step up for Charles Xavier. Sinister arrives to try to end the X-Men once and for all.”
The series begins with Magneto and the X-Men after Professor X leaves for Shi’ar space in the series finale of the original show. The series brings back the original voice cast included Cal Dodd (Glutton), Lenore Zann (Rascal), Giorgio Buzza (Beast), Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm), Chris Potter (Gambitto), Catherine Disher (Jean Grey), Adrian Hough (Nightcrawler) e Christopher Britton (Left Minister).
Beau De Mayo is the head writer and executive producer of X-Men ’97. Jake Castorena is the supervising director and Charley Feldmann is the supervising producer. X-Men ’97 will debut on Disney+ in 2024. Hopefully we’ll get a trailer soon! Check out the promotional art below:
