It’s been a long and challenging journey for the Marvel star Jeremy Renner after the crazy accident that almost took his life, but the actor is not only back on his feet but also back in action. After suffering serious injuries in a snowplow accident more than a year ago and undergoing surgery, Renner has spent much of the last year recovering and sharing updates on his recovery process. however, the Hawk eye the actor is officially back at work, he is currently filming the third season of The mayor of Kingstown. While fans have been anxious to know if Renner will ever reprise his role as Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor recently gave an encouraging answer.
In a recent interview with ET Online, Jeremy Renner expressed his excitement about a potential return to the MCU, saying, “I’m always ready. I’ll be strong enough, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready. All those kids come to my bedside and I’m been with me throughout this recovery period, so… if they want me, they could have me. That would be something.”
Renner’s statement will certainly bring hope to fans who have been longing to see him return. It would be really great to see him return to the role after everything he’s been through. So if Marvel wants to continue exploring the character, he’s ready to return!
During the interview, Renner also talked about his upcoming Super Bowl commercial, saying, “I had a commercial career, then I had a movie star career. I’ve never had a commercial in the big game… .I’ll watch this.” , and I’m really excited because sometimes they’re the highlight of the Super Bowl. Some games aren’t always the best, but the ads are always the best. It’s nice to be part of it, to think [I can] tick it off the box of things I want to do with my life.”
So, fans will have to keep an eye out for Renner’s commercial during the Big Game! Renner’s journey from injury to recovery and return to work is inspiring, and his eagerness to return to the MCU is sure to excite fans.
