Intriguing Trailer for MAX’s True-Crime Crime Documentary THEY CALL IT HARMLESS

A new trailer has been released for the true crime thriller documentary, They called him Mostly Harmless. The documentary was made by Patricia E. Gillespie (The fire that took her, The devil you know), and follows the crazy true story of a mysterious man found dead in the forest. As a woman sets out to discover her identity, her story begins to unravel.

The full synopsis reads:

When the “emaciated” body of an unidentified hiker is found in the Florida wilderness alongside a bag of money and food, baffled authorities release a sketch that sparks Internet fascination, leading to a viral 2020 article in Wired. Several hikers call claiming to have met the man on trails from Florida to the Appalachians, but there’s a problem: He never told them his name. It would take two years, thousands of devoted Internet sleuths, and a miracle of science to identify him, and that’s just the beginning of the story.

This seems like a really wild document. I can’t wait to see the full story behind this guy and what secrets lie in his past. Check out the trailer below and watch They called him Mostly Harmless on MAX on February 8.
