Gravitas Ventures has revealed a trailer for its upcoming horror thriller DarkGameand while it doesn’t sound like the best movie, it looks like it will tell a disturbing, exploitative story full of senseless violence.
In the film, “Six innocent victims have been kidnapped and held captive, forced to stage a deadly reality show on the dark web for the entertainment of the criminal underworld betting on the results. It isn’t long before viewers around the world find themselves captivated by this macabre game of fate. All this delights the host of the game, an extravagant psychopath hungry for fame and attention. Portland Police Detective Ben Jacobs (Ed Westwick), heads the task force assigned to the case. Events escalate as more and more people tune in to social media and the stakes get even higher. Jacobs and his team find themselves in a race against time to save the prisoners.”
The film comes from the director Howard J. Fordand becomes the protagonist Andrew P. Stefano, Natalia Tsvetkova, Lola Wayne, Rosa ReynoldsAND Rory Alexander.
Gravitas will be released DarkGame in select US theaters and on VOD on February 20, 2024.
