A new trailer has been released for the indie thriller Written by ghostshero Jay Duplass (Transparent, Pain dealers), Kate Lyn Sheil (He will die tomorrow), Maria Dizzia (While we are young), AND Thomas Jay Ryan (by Hal Hartley Mad Henry trilogy). The film is written and directed by Thomas Matthews in his second feature film later Lost vacation.
The film’s synopsis reads:
Clinging to the reputation of his best-selling novel, writer Guy Laury (Jay Duplass) accepts a winter residency on a lonely island whose few residents seem friendly at first. The discovery of a lost manuscript and its possible connections to an old local murder case, however, calls into question the intentions of everyone around him.
I watch anything to do with the Duplass brothers, as they are two of my favorite actors and directors. This looks like a real mind blowing watch! The film initially premiered at the 2023 Brooklyn Horror Film Festival last year and will be available to watch on VOD on February 9th. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think:
