The classic psychedelic fairy tale Alice in Wonderland is the main inspiration behind the next horror film Alice in Terror. I have a feeling this trend of low-budget fairytale horror films isn’t going away anytime soon.
In Alice in Terror, “A recently grieving teenager goes to live with her aunt in a secluded house in the woods, unaware that sinister forces lurk within.” As you’ll see in the trailer, there are distorted interpretations of all the characters in the story. It also seems like the story is set in some sort of mental asylum.
Alice in Terror is written and directed by Richard John Taylor and becomes the protagonist Rula Lenska, Steve Wraith, Jon Paul GatesAND Rikki Kimpton.
Alice in Terror will be released by High Fliers Films on DVD on February 13, 2024.
