If you were hoping to see a third season for Kaley Cuoco’S The flight attendantI have some disappointing news for you because there will be no season 3.
Not long after season two ended, Cuoco was asked about a third season and it was something she was sure would happen. He said at the time: “It’s going to take a lot of thought to make sure that if we go back it’s better than the last two, which is very difficult to do. There’s definitely interest in doing a third season. I think for me, in this moment, the plane has landed.”
Now he’s officially leaving the series. Cuoco also spoke about the ending, saying that the series “could definitely be done or is definitely open to continuing. I think the writers and the team did a really good job of tying it all up in a nice bow. But if I were to open the bow, that would be fine.”
The show was such a huge success that I thought there would definitely be a third season, but if there really wasn’t a need for one, then it’s a good thing the show ended on a high note even though it only lasted two seasons. .
The flight attendant is based on the novel by Chris Bohjalian and the story follows Cassie Bowden, Cuoco’s alcoholic, globetrotting flight attendant, who becomes involved in an espionage plot following her affair with a first-class passenger, who ends up killed after the their night together.
The series’ second season saw Bowden start over in Los Angeles, sober and moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. Things spiral out of control during an overseas assignment that leads to her inadvertently witnessing a murder, and she finds herself embroiled in yet another international intrigue.
Did you like this show? What do you think about the fact that there won’t be a third season?
