I have a couple of crazy videos for you to watch where a humanoid AI robot named Ameca looks at herself in the mirror and makes funny faces. This thing was created by Engineered Arts and the video came with the following note:
We’ve been working to teach Ameca a wider range of facial expressions. Added 12 new actuators: now the challenge is how to control all the expressive capabilities.
It’s really cool to see the crazy progress of this type of technology. Now, when the robot overlords take over the world, when they kill you, they will be able to look at you with a silly expression while they do it. However, there is a point in the video where the robot shows a rather angry face!
