In season four, Eddie sacrificed himself to the ferocious Demobats so that Robin, Nancy, and Steve could kill Vecna’s body in the Upside Down. Eddie ended up getting bitten multiple times, bleeding to death in Dustin’s arms.

Eddie may return in the next chapter as the Dungeons & Dragons vampire character Kas, who is a trusted right-hand man and lieutenant of Vecna ​​in D&D. Vecna ​​could come across Eddie’s body and revive him the same way Eleven helped Max and possess him with the mind flayer. Kas eventually turns against Vecna, betrays him, and kills him.

That would be a really nice way to go, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Regardless, it’s nice to see that Eddie will be remembered in season five.

When it comes to the final season, co-creator Ross Duffer previously shared that this final chapter of the story will be an emotional arc for Will Byers (Noah Grappa) and which will tie the entire series together. Ross Duffer explained: “Will will take center stage again [season] 5. This emotional arc for him is what will hopefully unite the entire series. Will is used to being the young one, the introverted one, the one who is protected. So part of his journey isn’t just sexuality — it’s Will coming out as a young man.”

When previously describing Stranger Things 5, the writing team said that the next chapter of the story is “like if seasons 1 and 4 had a baby. And then that child was injected with steroids.”
