Here’s a crazy trailer for a new horror movie that looks like a lot of fun! It is entitled Abigal and it centers on a 12-year-old ballerina, who also happens to be a vampire, and she’s out for blood. I’m excited about this movie! This looks like a great horror movie with some fun comedic elements!
The film comes from Radio Silence, the directing team of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin AND Tyler Gillett behind films like Ready or Not, He shouted and last year’s Scream VI. The film is described as “a brash, bloodthirsty new take on the vampire film.”
In the film, “After a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old dancer, daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to raise a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated villa, the kidnappers begin to diminish, one by one, and they discover, to their growing horror, that they are locked inside without a normal child.
The film also comes with a great cast that includes Melissa Barrara (He shouted franchising, In the heights), Dan Stevens (Gaslit, Legion), Kathryn Newton (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Freaky), William Catlett (Black lightning, true story), Kevin Durand (Resident Evil: Retribution, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) AND Angus Cloud (Euphoria, North Hollywood). Alisha Weir (Matilda the Musical by Roald Dahl, Darklands) takes on the role of Abigail.
The film will be released in theaters on April 19, 2024. Enjoy the trailer!
