New concept art has emerged Loki The second season shows us a very different vision Ke Huy Quanfan favorite character, OB. Ouroboros is an agent of the Temporal Variation Authority who works in the Repair and Advancement department. In the series, we learn that OB was the brains and heart of the TVA, having written the guidebook by which all agents are trained.
Before Ke Huy Quan was cast in the role, Marvel was trying to figure out how to move forward with the character. At one point it was even a variant Owen WilsonIt’s Mobius. However, this new concept art presents a completely different vision of the character!
The art comes from concept artist Aleksi Briclot, who described the character’s design as follows:
“Old-fashioned mechanic’s overalls. Orange overall (the color of the Time Variance Authority in the show) with some hints of complementary color: blue. This guy has an Ouroboros snake motif tattooed on his head. I tried to avoid being too noticeable so I made it small like a thin crown. Even the “recycling” logo on the wall is a tribute to the character: the giant snake/dragon that bites its own tail. And I made him blind as if he looked at the universe and its temporal variations with some sort of third eye or other sense.
Marvel was obviously looking at all different types of options for this lovable character, but casting Ke Huy Quan for the role was the perfect direction to go. Check out the concept art below:
