Ten years after the separation, ex Sammi “Caro” Giancola AND Ronnie Ortiz Magro we’ll see each other face to face next season Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The season seven trailer, released on January 4, shows the former couple reuniting at the group’s vacation home in New Jersey. “I feel like this is my place,” Ronnie says as he enters the house with his suitcases.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino He tells the group, without Ronnie, that Ronnie will eventually return. “I feel like we’ve all known for a while that Ron might be coming back,” Mike says, to which Sammi, 36, replies, “Of course not!”
When Ronnie enters the house, everyone stands up to greet him, except Sammi, who appears sitting on the couch, rolling her eyes. Later in the trailer, Sammi says, “Do I live in the Twilight Zone?”, apparently in reference to her reuniting with her ex. The new season will debut on February 8.
Sammi and Ronnie had a tumultuous relationship during the original seasons of J.Ersey Coast It aired from 2009 to 2012. They broke up for good in 2014 and dated other people. Sammi refused to do so Jersey Shore: Family Vacation when the revival series premiered on MTV in 2018. Ronnie left the show in 2021 to receive treatment after being arrested for domestic violence. Sammi officially returned to the series for the second half of season six in 2023.
In an interview with Entertainment tonight Last year, Sammi confirmed she was hoping to reunite with Ronnie on camera. “I knew that if I did the show again, eventually it would be there, or there would be a situation where Ron and I would have to work together,” the reality star said. “He’s part of the family like everyone else, so I see him more as a colleague and I work with him, and he’s just a guy I dated when I was 20.”
Sammi left her ex and is in a relationship with Justin can since 2021. Ronnie, in turn, has a 5-year-old daughter, Ariannathat he shares with his ex, Jen Harley. Ronnie was granted sole custody of her daughter in 2023.
