Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws It looks like it’s going to be a really cool gaming experience and we have some new information to share with you about it. The game is said to offer a “deeply immersive” experience Star Wars experience like an open world game.
In a recent interview with Kotaku, narrative director Navid Khavari talks about the open world aspect of the game, saying, “Focusing on the open world aspect of the game allowed us to build a deeply immersive experience.” Star Wars voyage.”
Khavari also talked about the game’s main character, Kay, and how they gave her an entire galaxy to explore. They wanted this character to be deliberately out of their league: “We wanted to create a rogue who had never experienced anything like this before. She doesn’t have it all figured out yet and doesn’t always have all the right answers.”
It’s also explained that players will travel to “dense, bustling cities” as well as “open, mysterious and surprising environments.” Khavari added: “Space represents a super lucrative but very risky experience for any outlaw. If you go off the beaten path, your willingness to explore will also bring surprises. So you can go from accepting a contract to stealing an Imperial shipment, but then distract yourself on your speeder and head into the Toshara savannah in search of an artifact, and the game will reward your curiosity.
Another interesting thing that is being talked about is that players will have the ability to easily move between different modes of transportation. This will be a fundamental aspect of the game. Khavari goes on to say that “one of the central parts of the scoundrel’s fantasy is having his own ship and essentially being his own home.” And that ship remains a key part of the Outlaws’ exploration of space.
The game’s story is set between the events of The empire strikes again AND Return of the Jedi. Star Wars: Outlaws it is presented as the first ever open-world Star Wars game and players will be able to explore distinct planets throughout the galaxy, both iconic and new.
The story centers on a female character named Kay Vess, voiced by Humberly Gonzalez. Kay Vess is “an emerging rogue looking for freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her partner Nix. You fight, steal and defeat the galaxy’s crime syndicates while joining the galaxy’s most wanted.
Nix’s character will be voiced The bad lot‘S Dee Bradley Baker. In a press release, creative director Julian Gerighty spoke about the game’s setting, saying, “When we first imagined the first open-world Star Wars game, we explored where and when it might take place, and we quickly realized we had all the right ingredients for the journey of a scoundrel. These outlaws live a life under the control of the Galactic Empire, but can still thrive given the opportunities the criminal underworld offers to those seeking to take advantage of the unrest. The time is ripe for a new outlaw to make himself a name, and Kay Vess is written in the stars.”
Star Wars: Outlaws will be released in 2024. I’m excited to play it!
