Marvel Studios has released a new promotional video for its upcoming film Echo series and offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the amazing action-packed fight sequences the series will entail. The video also offers new footage and insights into the complicated relationship between Maya Lopez and Kingpin.
The series centers on Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) as he “struggles to reconnect with his Native American roots while balancing aspirations of a life of crime as the successor to Wilson Fisk’s brutal legacy (Vincenzo D’Onofrio) aka Kingpin. In the first episode we are introduced to Maya Lopez and her struggles.”
Initial reactions to Echo were positive and it was described as dark, brutal, violent and gory. I’m excited about this show and hope it lives up to the hype I’ve heard!
Echo is developed by Ethan Cohen AND Emily Cohen, who are writers and executive producers of the show. The series is also the protagonist Charlie CoxZahn McClarnon, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Cody Lightning, Devery JacobsAND Graham Greene.
All five episodes will release on Disney+ and Hulu on April 9, 2024.
