Glen Powell he’s fresh off his latest film, Anyone but youa raunchy R-rated romantic comedy in which she stars alongside him Sydney Sweeney. We will next see him lead the charge in the film Twisterin which he will star Daisy Edgar-Jones, Antonio Ramos, Brandon Perea, Daryl McCormack, Maura Tierney, Harry Hadden-Paton, Sasha Lane, Kieran Shipka, Nik Dodani, David Corenswet, Tunde AdebimpeAND Katy O’Brian.
Powell also has other film projects in the works, but is also apparently working on a Broadway musical.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Powell talked about one of the roles he’s most recognized for, aside from that one Top Gun: nonconformistWhich Ryan Murphy-created a series of horror comedies Scream queens. When asked if he had thought about working with Murphy again on a future project, Powell said:
“Ryan Murphy and I are actually doing a musical together. We don’t really plan on getting back together on television, but we will be on Broadway together.”
When asked if the project would be a musical version of Scream queensPowell responded:
“Chad Radwell’s musical. This is the funniest idea. Only Dickie dollar scholars. The amount of people who come to me for Scream Queens is shocking, probably more than anything else I’ve done. Maybe it ages like a good wine.
He had no other information about what the musical would entail, or when we might expect to hear more, but we’ll let you know as it develops and more details are released.
