A trailer for the family film has been released Autumn and the black jaguar. The story follows a girl who befriends a baby jaguar in the Amazon jungle and returns when she senses she is in danger. The film is the protagonist Lumi Pollackwith Wane Baker, Paul Greene, Emily Bett RickardsAND Kelly Hope Taylor. It was directed by Gilles de Maistre (Mia and the White Lion, The wolf and the lion), from a screenplay written by Maistre plum.
The film’s synopsis reads:
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest has given Autumn the rarest of friendships: a lost jaguar cub she names Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope for the unknown of New York City, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and to her friend. At age 14 and accustomed to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is threatened by animal traffickers and she decides that she must return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar. Anja, her tender and clumsy biology teacher, tries in vain to dissuade her from this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy her rainforest and wildlife.
It looks nice for the right audience. I was a child who loved animals like these, so I have a soft spot for stories like this. Check out the trailer below and watch Autumn and the black jaguar in theaters in 2024.
