It seems that Zack Snyder would be interested in making a James Bond film and, if the opportunity ever arises, has an idea of what he’d like to see. Snyder would have followed the path of the young James Bond.
During an interview with The Atlantic, the director said: “It would be great to see, for example, the 20-year-old James Bond, the humble roots that he comes from. Whatever trauma of youth makes you be able to be James Bond. There has to be something there.”

Snyder isn’t the only person in Hollywood who would love to see a Young James Bond movie. Tom Holland at one point he actually pitched a Young James Bond film to Sony Pictures, which eventually led to him getting into acting Unexplored.
Holland previously said: “I had an encounter, either after or during Spider-Man 2 [Far From Home], with Sony pitching the idea of a Bond film for young people that had been on my mind. It was the origin story of James Bond. It didn’t really make sense. It did not work. It was a little boy’s dream, and I don’t think the Bond family was particularly interested.”
I think there is a way to make a Young Bond film, but they would have to find a really strong young actor to play the character, but Bond casting these days is difficult. Longtime casting director for the Bond franchise, Debbie McWilliams, explained why younger actors don’t really work for James Bond. When they looked at the younger actors he said they lacked the gravitas and mental capacity of the character.
He said: “When we started, it was a slightly different feeling. We looked at a lot of younger actors and I don’t think they had the gravitas. They didn’t have the experience, they didn’t have the mental capacity to deal with it, because it’s not just the role they’re taking on, it’s a huge responsibility. So we kind of scrapped that idea and went back to the drawing board and started over.”
