The BBC has confirmed that the new season of Doctor who – starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor, opposite Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday – will premiere on Pubcaster in the UK and Disney+ worldwide in May. Watch the first half-minute teaser for the new episodes below.
The time-traveling duo head to Swinging Sixties London in period clothing and watch a small Liverpool combo put on a song. Later we hear the Doctor say: “Ruby, there are forces outside the universe.” To which she replied: “Are you afraid? Because right now you’re just talking.”
Oh, and there are lots of monsters involved.
Yasmin Finney and Bonnie Langford reprise their respective roles as Rose Noble and Mel Bush in the new season, and Jinkx Monsoon will debut as the Doctor’s most powerful foe yet. Jonathan Groff plays a mysterious key role with Indira Varma as the Duchess and Lenny Rush as Morris.
