UPDATED with statement from Diesel’s lawyer: A former assistant to Vin Diesel has accused the actor of sexually assaulting her while filming in Atlanta Fast five in 2010 and fired her shortly thereafter in retaliation.
The lawsuit, filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges Diesel assaulted Asta Jonasson at the St. Regis Hotel after reportedly spending a night of partying with hostesses he met at a nearby club.
“Vin Diesel forcibly grabbed Ms. Jonasson, fondled her breasts and kissed her,” says the 10-count sexual assault, discrimination and retaliation lawsuit (read the lawsuit here). “Mrs Jonasson constantly struggled to free herself from his grip as he repeatedly said no.
