AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM will have a small screening for fans instead of a red carpet premiere

And just like that, the DCEU has come to an end. Without the fanfare of the typical superhero movie, or any other big budget movie, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom opted for a small screening for fans in Southern California with a pre-reception. The news comes from The Hollywood journalist senior film writer Borys Kit, who said on X:

And so the DCEU ends, not with a bang but with a whimper. No red carpet premiere, no afterparty, just a small (but neat) pre-reception, a “fan screening” and just Jason Momoa and James Wan at the Grove to close out a true era…

The reception seems rather nice, but it’s a shame about the film and its star, Jason Momoa, did not receive more than a greeting. Check out photos from the event below and get ready to watch Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in theaters this weekend.
