The trailer for the romantic comedy has been released Which brings me to youhero Lucia Hale (pretty Little Liars) AND Nat Wolff (Paper cities). They are joined in the cast by John Gallagher Jr., Ward Horton, Genevieve Angelson, Alexander Hodge, Britne Oldford, Marceline HugotAND Laura Kai Chen. The film was directed by Peter Hutchings (Then you arrived, The game of hate) from a screenplay written by Keith Bunin. The story was adapted from the novel of the same name written by Giuliana Baggott AND Steve Almond.
The synopsis reads:
Two burned-out romantics, Jane and Will (Lucy Hale and Nat Wolff), are instantly attracted to each other at a mutual friend’s wedding. After a disastrous meeting in the cloakroom, the two spend the next 24 hours together, exchanging candid confessions of complicated affairs and heartbreak, on the off-chance that this fling might be true.
It feels like a fun sort of retelling of the genre, looking back at each other’s pasts through flashbacks where the pair travel together. I like these two actors and think their chemistry is pretty good. Check out the trailer below and watch Which brings me to you in theaters January 19, 2024.
