Marvel’s X-MEN reboot will reportedly be female-focused and could involve Mr. Sinister

Marvel fans are eagerly waiting to see what Marvel Studios will do with X-Men when they end up rebooting the franchise. Well, Hollywood insider scooper Daniel Richtman, who has built a reputation for providing reliable information, says the idea for the next X-Men the film will focus more on the female members of the team.

Kevin Feige he reportedly wants to make the film as different as possible from 20th Century Fox’s X-Men films, and isn’t trying to reintroduce Magneto at first. Instead, the in-development story is said to introduce Mr. Sinister as a villain.

While many people trust Richtman, with no script and Marvel Studios busy taking pitches from writers, it really seems too early to say what the hell Marvel will end up doing. Maybe it’s just something that was mentioned by someone and it’s nothing official.

Regardless, the first major X-Men film to be released Deadpool 3, which will involve many cameos from the original films. This third Deadpool movie could be used in a way to destroy Fox’s X-Men universe so Marvel can start over with the X-Men from scratch, but who knows!?

There’s a writer who’s talked about wanting to develop an X-Men movie, and that writer is it Loki‘S Eric Martinand he said Total film: “I think everyone’s probably chasing the X-Men because I think that’s where the richest characters are. But I mean, who knows? That’s a decision for someone other than me.”

He added: “As long as Marvel is happy, obviously, I’d love to do it [work on more MCU projects]. I mean, Marvel changed my life by trusting me to write this season. It was a big responsibility and I hope I earned that trust. I think for me it’s all about the characters. Do we have deep, interesting characters to work on? This is what gets me out of bed in the morning. Can I tell a deeply emotional, character-driven story with these people and on this huge canvas?”

Who knows what will come of this, but I would bet that this is not how the next X-Men movie will end.
