Kevin Hartthe new project of the series, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, was ordered from Peacock. This is a heist series centered around an iconic Muhammad Ali boxing match. It looks like it’s going to be an interesting and fun show!
The story is set in Atlanta, “following the clandestine heavyweight robbery that introduced the world to the city nicknamed the Black Mecca. It also focuses on the cop and the crook at the center of the story. Fight Night promises to reveal the infamous saga of an armed robbery during Ali’s historic comeback fight in 1970 and how it changed the fate of a city.
The series is created and written by Shaye Ogbonna (Penguin, The Who, God’s Own Country). Ogbonna e Jason Horwitch (Echo 3, The Call) will serve as showrunners and executive producers on the project.
