Marvel Studios appears to be developing another animated series that has yet to be announced. This information comes from industry scoops Daniele Richtmannand says this is an anime-influenced project that will revolve around a diverse group of protagonists.
There is also a short plot summary that was shared revealing some additional information: “A clandestine group of ancient cosmic beings living undercover on Earth are trying to protect the world without being discovered by humans. They find themselves embroiled in a battle cosmic energy that could reshape the world.” fate of the universe.”
It looks like it could be an animated series involving the Eternals or Inhumans. We don’t know for sure, but if I had to guess it would be Eternals because there are a lot of epic things you can play with in animation that would be difficult and incredibly expensive to do in live action.
We hope to have more information to share with you about this soon. Marvel is currently developing animated shows for What if…?, X-Men ’97, Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Eyes of WakandaAND Marvel Zombies. If this new series was based on the Eternals, I would love for the animation to be heavily inspired by Jack Kirby’s art! They could do something really interesting visually!
