Warner Bros. has released a final trailer for the director James Wan’S Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. It’s the studio’s latest attempt to try to get audiences excited about seeing the DC movie in theaters. Everyone expects this film to be a box office disappointment and early box office projections are expected to be low. You know what would be crazy? If the movie actually ends up exceeding expectations and people flock to theaters to watch it over the holidays.
In the Aquaman sequel, “Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to defeat Aquaman once and for all,” the official version of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. read the synopsis. “This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever, as he wields the power of the mythical Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must put aside their differences to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family and the world from irreversible destruction.
Jason Momoa plays Aquaman in the film and he joins him Patrick Wilson like Orm, Amber heard like Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the role of Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Dolph Lundgren as king Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.
Warner Bros. will release the film in theaters on December 20.
