Actor Luke Wilson he appeared in the first two Legally blonde film, and if a third is made, he will be ready to return. She has faced many setbacks and the last one we heard was last year when she was the star Reese Witherspoon he said he still had hope that the film would take shape.
Wilson was recently asked about the status of the film in a recent interview with ComicBook, and said that while there isn’t much of an update, he thinks the success of another female-led box office hit released this year will. influence what follows. He explained:
“There wasn’t [an update] ever since Reese talked about it. We had a Zoom meeting with everyone, all the characters, and it was just fun to see everyone. But I do not know. I was joking when Barbie was so successful that Legally Blonde was the OG. But I haven’t really heard anything since then. I had heard pretty much what everyone else had heard, that Mindy Kaling, I think, was working at the time to try to write a version of it… Reese is a very sharp person, so I think she really wants to get the script perfect, and I bet they will be influenced by the fact that Barbie is a zeitgeist movie not only in the country but in the world, so I hope in a good way that inspires them to get the best script possible.
I know this movie will be a success as long as they get the right story lined up. There’s already a huge fan base, and it’s clear that women are excited to go to the movies when the right movie comes along.
