That actress was announced Lauren LaVera is officially ready to return to Terrifier 3 and resume its role as Siena. She made her franchise debut with the ultraviolent blockbuster Terrifier 2and after his performance, he will have a long career in the horror film genre.
The news comes from Bloody-Disgusting, which states that “LaVera is back to guide you through your deepest nightmares as Art the Clown wreaks havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully fall asleep on Christmas Eve.” You can watch a teaser trailer here.
LaVera said in a statement: “I’m thrilled to return to Terrifier 3. Damien’s vision for my character was special, and now he’s ready to take it to a whole new level. It was surreal to witness the fans’ immense connection and support for Sienna, and I applaud Damien for introducing a strong female character, the heroine dressed as an angel, who must face the ruthless ways of Art the Clown. I can’t wait for you to see Sienna’s next chapter as Damien dives deeper into his past.”
The director of the film Damiano Leone said: “Lauren was the heart and soul of Terrifier 2, and the next episode couldn’t have been made without her character. Lauren brings an unprecedented essence to the film and her return is an integral part of continuing the chilling narrative we have created. His character will be more developed as he will have to deal with intense trauma stemming from the events of the previous film and, ultimately, he will have to overcome these challenges to face Art. His continued metamorphosis into Art’s formidable enemy is for me one of the most intriguing and exciting aspects of this franchise.”
The film will also, of course, see the return of David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown, with the AEW superstar. Chris Jericho, Samantha ScaffidiAND Elliot Fullam also reprising their roles from last year Terrifier 2.
Leone continued, “We’re in pre-production right now. We will start filming in two months, at the beginning of February. So we are in the thick of the situation. We’re assembling our crew; we are still casting; we are putting the positions in order; special effects are being created; and we are still working on the drafts. It could always be better and tighter – I never stop doing that throughout the production. I’m finally getting to the point where I’m very excited. We are going to make a film again, which is the realization of my childhood fantasy.”
The director also teased the story: “This will pick up where the second part left off, in the asylum, so you’ll see what happens there, what unfolds in the chaos, because to see how Art and Victoria ended up, it’s so crazy, and to see How they get out of that situation and what happens next is going to be really crazy. So we have to get Chris [Jericho] go back there and see how it becomes part of that situation.
Terrifier 3 will be released in theaters on October 25, 2024.
