Emma Myersbest known for her role in Wednesday as well as the new Netflix film Family changehas joined the cast of the upcoming film adaptation of Minecraft. The writer of the film has not yet been revealed and the plot is strictly under wraps, but fans are excited, as the game is one of the most popular out there.
Myers joins the previously cast actors Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks AND Sebastian Eugene Hansen in the full version of the Mojang sandbox video game, which with 300 million copies sold and almost 140 million monthly active players, is the best-selling video game of all time.
The film will begin shooting at the end of the month in New Zealand. Minecraft is eyeing a 2025 release date. In the meantime, you can see Myers return to the role of Enid Wednesday when it returns for a second season in 2024.
