Kurt Russell would be willing to make a BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA Sequel

Even if Burton’s story continues in comic book form, it would be fun to see Russell reprise the role! The question is, would Russel be open to something like that if the opportunity arose?

During a recent interview with CB, Russell was asked if he would be open to playing Jack Burton again, and he said, “Never say never. If someone were to write a great screenplay that was better than the first one, it would have to be something new to say, I don’t know.”

As for how he would convince Carpenter to direct the sequel, the actor joked, “We could slap John Carpenter a little bit and say, ‘Come on, John, let’s go do it.'”

While it would be exciting to see Russell and Carpenter team up for a Big trouble in Little China followed, there’s a good chance it will never happen, and that’s okay. We always have the original film to watch if we’re in the mood for some Jack Burton action.
