It looks like Marvel Studios is developing an interesting new series for Disney+. According to an inside scooper Daniele Richtmannthe studio is developing a Adventure in fear TV series, which actually could be really interesting if true. This will most likely be the series that continues the story of Man-Thing and Werewolf by Night.
Marvel Comics’ Adventure in fear The series debuted in the early 1970s and became a platform for various horror and supernatural stories within the Marvel Universe. The series featured a wide range of characters such as Man-Thing, Morbius the Living Vampire, and Werewolf by Night, each with their own unique and disturbing stories.
The underlying theme of the stories was the exploration of fear and the supernatural, often delving into the darkest and most mysterious aspects of the Marvel Universe. Adventure in fear played a significant role in expanding Marvel fiction beyond traditional superhero narratives, offering readers a thrilling and supernatural journey through the strange and terrifying corners of the Marvel Universe.
I wish this report were true. I loved what Marvel did Werewolf at night, and it would be great to see Marvel continue to play with the monstrous side of the MCU. There are so many monstrous, fantastical and wild characters to explore!
