Here’s a trailer for the next film TIM, which is described as a ’90s-style sci-fi thriller. TIM stands for Technologically Integrated Manservant, and it seems to tell a disturbing story about artificial intelligence gone wrong.
Movie stars Barbarian‘S Georgina Campbell as “Abi, a prosthetic engineer, and her husband Paul (Marco Rowley). As they adapt to a new life outside the city, Abi’s latest project, the humanoid AI TIM (Eamon Farren), initially appears as the perfect help. Programmed to serve only her, he turns into a dangerous obsession, determined to replace Paul.
The film comes from the writer and director Spencer Brown (Shed of the dead), and previously speaking about the film, said: “Georgina lights up the screen with her extraordinary presence and subtlety, Mark wins our hearts with his humour, depth and humanity, and Eamon completes the central trio with a brilliant performance of artificial intelligence. which showcases his truly world-class talent. Stigma films have been incredible in helping me bring this film to the screen and I’m so happy to be working with Altitude to bring this film to the world. I hope it’s something that will still be seen when people have their own home robots!”
The film is also the protagonist Eamon Farren (The witcher, Twin Peaks), Marco Rowley (The Last Kingdom), AND Amara Karan (Doctor who).
Brainstorm Media is ready for release TIM in theaters and on demand January 12, 2024.
