David Ayer Says His Director’s Cut of SUICIDE SQUAD is “Coming” and “Something Will Be Revealed”

David Ayer he feels very confident and confident that his director will get cut Suicide squad will actually see the light. The director talked about his original cut Suicide squad for years and how it was “torn to pieces” by the studio.

During a recent interview with Total Film, Ayer was asked once again what his original cut was Suicide squad and if he will be released and believes that at some point he will see the light. He said:

“I think so. I’ll be confident. You know, there are a lot of people involved in certain narratives that don’t want them to see the light of day. So there’s an immense political headwind against it, because if that cut were made public, the cowardice and all the general crap of how the movie was treated, and how the actors had this amazing work that they had done taken away… That narrative explodes once people see the movie. But it’s coming. Something’s going to happen . Something will be revealed. The truth always comes out. It always comes out.”

Ayer had already revealed it Suicide squad it was his biggest heartbreak in Hollywood, he went on to explain Suicide squad he broke it, saying, “Hollywood – I tell people – is like watching someone you love get fucked by someone you hate. The big one is Suicide squad. That shit destroyed me. This one kicked my ass.

He went on to tell how everything fell apart for the film: “Come right away Fury, Right? I had the city in my hands: I could have done anything, and I did anything, and [I] embark on this journey with [Suicide Squad]. And the same thing: authentic, truthful, we do all the tests, we really get into each other’s souls. Let’s create this amazing, collaborative thing, right? Then Dead Pool open, right? And they never tested “Batman v. Superman,” so they expected a different result, and then they got hammered by all the critics. Then it was like, ‘Okay, now we’re going to turn David Ayer’s dark, soulful movie into a damn comedy.'”

Speaking previously about his original version of the film, the director said: “All I know is that my unseen film works much better than the studio release. The interest in my cut on display feels real and organic. And Gunn told me it was time to share it. He absolutely deserves to launch his own DC universe without further drama over old projects. I’m kind of chained to this thing. I’m riding a tiger and dealing with this situation as best I can. Life is a very strange journey.”

Ayer’s next film is The Jason Statham action movie The beekeeper.
