Reacher star Alan Ritchson announced that Prime Video has renewed the action series for a third season, currently in production! He also shared an extended clip from the upcoming second season, which makes its big debut on December 15! Subsequently, new episodes will be released weekly every Friday until January 19, 2024.
The second season of the series is based on the eleventh book of Lee Child’s novel series titled “Bad Luck and Trouble”, and this is the official description:
Season 2 of Reacher begins when veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) receives a coded message that members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one. Torn from his vagrant lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates who have become the chosen family to investigate, including Frances Neagley (Maria Sten); Karla Dixon (Serinda Cigno), a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a soft spot; and David O’Donnell, a fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man (Shaun Sipos). Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher each time, and this raises questions about who betrayed them and who will die next. Using his inimitable blend of intelligence and size, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect the members of his unit. If there’s one thing Reacher and his team know for sure, it’s that he doesn’t mess with special investigators. This season, prepare for Reacher and the 110th to fight back hard.”
It’s also in the cast Ferdinand Kingsley as AM, who is described as “a mercenary Homeland Security calls a ‘ghost'”; Roberto Patrizio as Shane Langston, the “head of security for a private defense contractor with a questionable track record”; AND Domenico Lombardozzi as “tough NYPD detective” Guy Russo.
Reacher comes from the writer and showrunner Nick Santoraand season two will debut the first three of its eight episodes on December 15. New episodes will then be released weekly every Friday until January 19, 2024. Enjoy the video below!
