Zack Snyder reveals the only Marvel and DC film projects he would direct at this point in his career

After everything that happened with Justice League to Warner Bros. and DC, Zack Snyder has gone ahead and had a strong relationship with Netflix developing its original film projects. He launched the The army of the dead action horror franchise and is now launching its own sci-fi franchise Rebel Moon. He keeps busy and does what he loves.

Snyder doesn’t need to go back and make comic books or superhero movies again. But, if he did, there are two films he would be interested in making… one for DC Studios and one for Marvel Studios.

He said he believes superhero movies “haven’t evolved” and admits “I don’t have the excitement I once did.” But, if DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn had called him and asked him to direct something, he would have shared that he would want to direct a comic book-accurate version. The return of the Dark Knight but only if it is “a faithful representation of the graphic novel”.

As for Marvel Studios, if they approached him about doing something, he said he would be open to directing a Daredevil and Elektra film, specifically an adaptation of Frank Miller’S Electra lives again“But that’s about it,” he said.

I seriously doubt any of these studios will make those films at this point, but I’d be curious to see how Snyder would bring them to life. I would love to see how he would bring the superhero genre back to life with these projects. But it will most likely never happen
