We recently reported a rumor that the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic it was no longer in development. Well, for those of you who were hoping that wasn’t true, a new report has surfaced claiming that the game is still alive and moving forward.
In a recent post on He said they told him they were still working on the game.

The initial news of the game’s scrapping came from industry insider Jeff Grubb, who said: “I just want to clarify, there is no work on this game right now. Enough, period. No studio is working on this game in any way.”
Grubb went on to add, “I looked into it a little bit. I don’t think this is news to most of you, I think you guys can piece it together if you’ve listened to this and Sony has gone away and deleted mentions of Knights of the Old Republic from social media and YouTube. I think you can put two and two together, but just to confirm it 100%, we are not working on this game at this time.”
According to IGN, the game’s development was stalled last year after Aspyr’s demo of the Knights of the Old Republic remake “wasn’t as successful as it could have been when shown to Lucasfilm and Sony.”
I’ve actually been excited about this remake, so I hope this recent report that it’s still in development is true.
