Kelsey Grammer it was always a great choice to take on the role of Beast in X-Men movie. Fans seemed to appreciate him in the role, but unfortunately he was completely underused in those X-Men films.
Grammer ended up making his big return as the character in the mid-credits scene of The wonders. Beast has officially been introduced into the MCU and it will be really interesting to see how the whole X-Men dynamic plays out, but it’s safe to say Deadpool 3 will play a bigger role in introducing it, we just don’t know exactly how.
Regardless, Grammer is confident that his time in the MCU isn’t over and that he will return as Beast, which seems like a given. But now he really talks about it and says:
“My hope is that you will [see him again]. I can say with some confidence that you will. I would like.”
Grammer was introduced as Beast in 2006 X-Men: The Last Stand and even made a cameo in 2014 X-Men: Days of Future Pastbut in those films she wore makeup and prosthetics. The wonders The version of the character was a CG version, which more closely resembled the Beast’s appearance in the classic comics and 1990’s X-Men: The Animated Series.
Grammer went on to say he was “very happy” with fan reactions to the cameo, adding:
“I’ve always wanted to play him again. I see him as an extraordinary character, a character of great importance and seriousness in our culture. I’m happy that Beast is back and I hope he’s back in a real way.”
I would love for Beast to have a major role in the next story arc involving the X-Men, it would be great to see Beast actually have a strong storyline in the MCU.
