It’s a story as old as time, as true as it may be: theme park attractions come and go. And a special attraction is coming to Disneyland.
Beast’s Library, where guests could explore the area Love and the Beast The character’s secret library will close permanently on Dec. 10, Disneyland officials announced Tuesday.
The vacated space will be taken over by Disney’s Imagination Campus, an educational program that teaches students how to use their imaginations to solve various challenges.
“Our plan is that the Imagination Campus will use the Animal’s Library space in the future. The last day guests can experience Beast’s Library is December 10,” a Disneyland official told KTLA.
The Beast’s Library attraction is located in the Sorcerer’s Workshop in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure Park. The attraction’s Prince portrait hangs in the center of the room and guests can watch it transform into the animal depicted in the 1991 animated film.
The Enchanted Book in the library asks guests a series of questions to determine which Disney character best matches their personality.
The Beast’s Library was opened in 2001.
