Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming Indian series The railway workerswhich tells the emotional true story of the Bhopal chemical plant disaster of 1984. This looks like a fantastic series that tells a truly incredible and heartbreaking story.
The series tells a story of “extraordinary heroism displayed by Indian Railways employees in Bhopal. These individuals rose against all odds to save their fellow citizens on the night of December 2, 1984, fighting an invisible enemy in the air. Inspired by true stories, this compelling series is a celebration of humanity’s indomitable spirit.”
The Railway Men was directed by Shiv Rawail, who said in a statement: “Directing this series has been a deeply emotional and rewarding journey. It’s a story of the human spirit that needed to be told, to remind people of the power of resilience in facing adversity. I am truly humbled and humbled to direct this series. To be able to realize my passion project under the capable guidance of YRF Entertainment; to be able to work with talents like R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Juhi Chawla, Raghubir Yadav, Divyendu, Babylon and so many others in my first directorial experience and for this series to reach global audiences through Netflix is truly a dream come true.”
Netflix will debut The railway workers series on November 18, 2023.
