Katurah has lived in Brooklyn, New York for six years. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.

Katurah is a civil rights lawyer.

Katurah works as a policy advisor at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., according to her LinkedIn. She described his career in an interview with Arrest.

“I have been involved in the civil rights side of the law since before I became a lawyer. So I have been a lawyer for about eight years,” she said. “And civil rights work has always been my passion and my goal. It starts a little and doesn’t always get to the point straight away, because I have to pay the bills and work in big law firms. So I paid my dues for it. But now I am proud to work at one of the largest civil rights law firms in the country.”
