Katurah works as a policy advisor at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., according to her LinkedIn. She described his career in an interview with Arrest.
“I have been involved in the civil rights side of the law since before I became a lawyer. So I have been a lawyer for about eight years,” she said. “And civil rights work has always been my passion and my goal. “These three identities continually put me at risk,” he said. “I am always alert; I’m always in survival mode. I’m always looking. Could this be the group that doesn’t like me? Are these the people who will feel uncomfortable around me? I’m socially at the bottom in many different ways. And a lot of times I have no advantages and I just have to figure it out.
