Saban Films has released a trailer for its upcoming action thriller Ruthless. Movie stars Dermot Mulroney (Scream VI) as a man who finds himself struggling to dismantle a trafficking ring.
The film centers on Harry (Mulroney), “a high school wrestling coach who is recovering from the loss of his daughter, killed in a brutal attack. When one of his students disappears in conditions eerily similar to those of his daughter, Harry finally decides to take matters into his own hands to hunt down the men responsible for her kidnapping and will stop at nothing to rescue her from their drug trafficking operation. human beings.
Yep, it’s pretty much another one of those movies that tries to be Taken, but not nearly as good. Mulroney looks like he delivers a solid performance, though. The film is directed by director Art Camacho and he also stars Jeff Fahey, Melissa Diaz, Maurizio Mendoza, Tonantzin EsparzaAND Nico Foster.
Saban Films will release the film directly on VOD starting December 15, 2023.
