The film is a mix of comedy and action, Crazy cats tells the story of Taka (Sho Mineo), an inept young man, who sets off in search of his missing brother Mune. “In the company of an eccentric new friend and a nervous and mysterious young girl, Taka finds himself facing a pack of ferocious monstrous cats determined to execute unscrupulous pet shop owners. Why do monster cats chase him? Why was his brother captured? What is the purpose of this mysterious young girl? Mysteries are about to be revealed as the journey leads to the final showdown.
Crazy cats was written and directed by Reiki Tsuno, who is making his directorial debut after working on numerous short films. The film will debut on the Midnight Pulp streaming service starting November 21, 2023.
