Disney is set to release two new Star Wars lightsaber hilts that will be available for purchase at Disney Parks and online. This reveal is part of Lucasfilm’s Gift the Galaxy promotion for the 2023 holiday season. These include Kanan Jarrus’ Legacy Lightsaber hilt and Stellan Gios’ Legacy Lightsaber hilt. The grips will be available to order here on shopDisney.
The Stellan Gios Elsa has an online release date set for November 17th at 8am PT / 11am ET. Stellan Gios is a Jedi Master who is part of the High Republic book series that Lucasfilm has produced in recent years. The replica hilt is the first for Star Wars: The High Republic and will feature light and sound effects. It will also come with a comic and a collectible wooden case. It is expected to be limited to 5000 units and priced between $170 and $200.
Then there’s Kanan Jarrus aka Caleb Dume’s lightsaber hilt, which is already available for purchase in the parks but will be released online on November 29th (most likely at 8am PT / 11am ET). This is the lightsaber wielded by the character Freddie Prinze Jr. from Star Wars: Rebels. It comes complete with light and sound effects, and the replica hilt will retail for $169.99.
