Trailer for Chuck Lorre’s MAX comedy series BOOKIE starring Sebastian Maniscalso and Charlie Sheen

MAX has released a trailer for their upcoming comedy series, Bookmakerfrom The Big Bang Theory AND Two men and a half co-creator, Chuck Lorre. Created by Lorre e Nick Bakaythe dark comedy revolves around longtime Los Angeles bookie Danny (Sebastiano Maniscalco) and his list of clients, one of which stars ex Two men and a half star Charlie Sheen as he returns to TV and reunites with Lorre twelve years after the actor’s dramatic exit from the previous series.

Also includes the main cast of the series Andrea Anders AND Maxim Swinton. Sheen is a recurring guest star.

The full synopsis of the show reads:

Bookie follows veteran Los Angeles bookie Danny (Maniscalco) as the potential legalization of sports gambling in California threatens to permanently disrupt his business. Along with best friend and former NFL player Ray (Omar J. Dorsey), sister Lorraine (Vanessa Ferlito), and reluctantly reformed drug dealer Hector (Jorge Garcia), Danny must deal with his increasingly unstable clients as he tries to fix their debts, all while making many risky bets. Filled with relatable incidents, Bookie chronicles one man’s journey to adapt to an ever-changing world as he attempts to charm and scam his way to the top.

It looks like it’s going to be a fun new show with a great cast. Check out the trailer below and watch Bookmaker when it premieres its eight-episode first season on Nov. 30 with two episodes. Two episodes at a time will be released every Thursday until the season finale on December 21st.
