Apple TV+ has released a sweet trailer for their short adaptation of the classic children’s book The Velveteen Rabbitwritten by Margery Williamspublished in 1922. The film is directed by Jennifer Perrot (Doctor who, Mr. Jack, The Midwich Cuckoos), the animation is directed by Rick Thieleand the story was adapted from Tom Bidwell.
The synopsis reads:
“Based on the precious and classic children’s book by Margery Williams, Apple TV+’s adaptation of The Velveteen Rabbit celebrates the magic of unconditional love. When 7-year-old William receives a new favorite toy for Christmas, he discovers a lifelong friend and unlocks a world of magic.
The Velveteen Rabbit will begin streaming on Apple TV+ on November 22nd and is the perfect short film for families to enjoy this holiday season. Watch the trailer below:
