‘The December Cross’: Todd Turner Drama Inks SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement to Begin Principal Photography;  Jennifer Esposito, Judd Hirsch, Kellan Lutz and other stars

EXCLUSIVE: The film The December Cross by writer and director Todd Turner starring Jennifer Esposito (New murders), Kellan Lutz (dusk), Judd Hirsch (The Fablemen), Grace Van Dien (strange things), Neal McDonough (Minority Report), Mila Harris (No exit) and Stelio Savante (Unbelievable), reached a tentative agreement between SAG and AFTRA to begin filming in Kentucky.

The film is set in a town called Bethlehem, where border officials have just intercepted a coyote smuggling in a group of tired, desperate and scared refugees. There, an 11-year-old girl meets a 7-year-old boy, Yosef, who is seeking shelter. Maya and Yosef become fast friends, and the ensuing adventure nearly kills them both, but ends up warming the hearts of the townspeople with life lessons that extend far beyond their own borders.

Archstone Entertainment secures worldwide distribution rights with Joshua Harris of Gala Media Capital Financing. Turner also serves as producer on Wonderstruck with Gabrielle Almagor for Urban Tales Productions and Archstone’s Michael Slifkin, Scott Martin and Jack Sheehan.
