If you are a Nintendo fan Legend of Zelda franchise, you’ll love this teaser for an upcoming animated short! It was created by YouTube user RwanLink using Unreal and was created in the style of Studio Ghibli anime films. It is inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the creator shared the following note:
“It started as a fun side project in August, testing out a new art direction, and now I have a teaser to show you! I’ll introduce you to Castle Town! I made more than 30 characters for this video. It will be released on November 21st on the channel 😉 Thanks for your patience! More information and images available on my Patreon!
In the video we see Link running around Castle Town and it also includes some Deku Scrubs dancing around the Great Deku Tree. Additionally, Malon, the daughter of the Lon Lon Ranch rancher, also makes a brief appearance.
This is just a small preview of a longer short film that will explore Castle Town in more depth. As I watched it, I thought about how awesome it would be if Studio Ghibli and Nintendo actually collaborated on a Legend of Zelda anime movie!
